On Monday 8 August a small group of Birmingham Pals members travelled to the Old Museum and Heritage Centre in Oxford Town Hall to take part in a Family Session to commemorate the soldiers from the Grandpont area of the city who participated in The Great War.

Our displays included the kit and equipment of the Infantryman, convalescence of a wounded serviceman, small arms, recruitment, propaganda, and the role of women in the war effort.
